TRUTHstudio is collaborating with D3 programmer Jason Davies, a research team at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and the International Aluminum Institute (IAI) to extend Economy Map 2.0 into a flexible software platform for visualizing, tracking, and analyzing the flow of materials and value along supply chains and through economies. The initial phase of the project creates a dynamic interface for exploring data about current and historical global flows of aluminum, and TRUTHstudio seeks future partnerships to explore how these visualization methods can be applied to other data sources to understand, analyze, and communicate the complexities of global supply chains and trade.
