TRUTHstudio was commissioned by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), on behalf of the Union for Ethical Biotrade (UEBT), to revise the data input and display format for the Ingredient Portfolio Assessment Tool. UEBT Member companies commit to gradually ensuring that their sourcing of ingredients promotes the conservation of biodiversity, respect traditional knowledge and assure the equitable sharing of benefits all along the supply chain. The Ingredient Portfolio Assessment Tool (IPAT) is provided by UEBT to support these Member efforts. On a compressed timeline, TRUTHstudio: 1) created a graphically intuitive user interface and data display format in the current Excel-based prototype; and 2) created wireframes and technical specifications for a more extensive software version to be developed in the future.
